I was worried the plates would be too small for a full steak dinner, but they're actually perfect—deep enough to hold the juices without spilling. The knife sliced through a ribeye like butter on the first try, and the espresso finish is even richer in person.
These plates are surprisingly hefty and keep the steak hot through the whole meal, and the knives glide through even a thick ribeye like butter. The dark espresso color looks really sharp on the table, too.
The Damascus pattern on these knives is even more striking in person, and the edge is razor-sharp right out of the box. The plates feel durable enough for daily use but still look elegant for date night; I’ve already used them twice this week.
The plates have a nice weight to them and the knife handles feel solid in hand — they made Saturday’s ribeye feel like a real steakhouse dinner.
The knives arrived incredibly sharp, slicing through a ribeye like butter. The espresso plates are a bit smaller than I expected for the price, but they look great on the table.
The Damascus steel blades arrived incredibly sharp out of the box — sliced through a ribeye like butter. Only wish the plates came in a slightly deeper shade for contrast with steak juice.
The knives are sharp and slice through steak beautifully, but the plates feel a bit lighter than I expected and one arrived with a tiny chip. For the price, I was hoping for thicker ceramic on the plates. Still, it's a decent set overall for occasional use.
