I was worried about knife marks ruining a nice board, but the walnut has held up beautifully even after heavy chopping. The contrasting grain pattern is gorgeous, and the reverse side is perfect for slicing bread without the juice groove getting in the way.
The juice groove on this board is actually deep enough to catch runoff from a roast, which is a relief. It’s held up to heavy chopping without showing more than faint surface marks after a month of daily use.
I was worried it would slide around on my counter, but the rubber feet keep it perfectly in place even when I'm chopping hard squash. The juice groove caught all the liquid from a roast chicken I carved, which saved my countertop.
The contrasting grains on this board are absolutely beautiful, and the deep juice groove on one side caught every bit of liquid from my roast chicken. It's already taken a beating from my chef's knife without showing any marks.

The juice groove on this board is a game changer – it caught all the liquid from my roasted chicken without a single spill. After a week of heavy chopping, there are barely any visible marks on the surface. Exactly what I needed for my daily meal prep.
I was a bit skeptical about a cutting board being worth the splurge, but the way this walnut one handles my heavy cleaver without leaving deep marks is impressive. The juice groove on one side actually works perfectly for carving a roast without making a mess.
