After years of dull supermarket knives, the first cut through a ripe tomato with this one felt like gliding through butter — no squishing, just clean slices. The wavy Damascus pattern on the blade is even more striking in person.
I was honestly taken aback by how light it feels in hand despite the heft of the blade, and the pattern on the steel is even more beautiful in person. The edge glided through a butternut squash like it was butter, and after a week of heavy use it still looks untouched.
The first time I used it to slice through a butternut squash, I was stunned—it went through like butter. The 8-inch blade has that perfect heft that makes chopping feel effortless.
I was worried about the balance, but this knife feels perfectly weighted in my hand—the layered steel pattern is also way more stunning in person than in photos. Cuts through tomatoes like butter without any crushing.
This blade is so sharp right out of the box that I sliced through a butternut squash with zero resistance. The wavy Damascus pattern on the steel looks even better in person than in the pictures.
I've had it for about two months now and it still glides through tomatoes like butter. The wavy pattern on the blade looks even better in person than online. Only wish the handle felt a bit more substantial in my hand.
