Making pasta for the whole crew used to feel chaotic, but having the 8QT pot and 14" pan together means everything finishes at the same time. The pot’s strainer lid seals tight enough that I’m not fishing for stray spaghetti.
The pan’s width is perfect for browning a full batch of meatballs without overcrowding, and the pot’s hybrid bottom heats evenly. Made a huge spaghetti dinner for six with zero sticking or scorching.
Having two huge pots meant I could get the sauce simmering while the pasta water came to a boil, and cleanup was easier than I expected since nothing stuck to the bottom.
The 8QT pot handled a full pound of spaghetti with no water spillover, which was a game-changer for our big family dinner. The 14" pan seared 24 meatballs at once without overcrowding, and cleanup took half the time I expected.
The 14" pan is huge and perfect for browning meatballs in a single batch, and the pot handles the pasta without boiling over. I just wish the lids fit a bit more snugly, but overall it handles a big family dinner like a champ.
The meatballs browned perfectly in the 14" pan without overcrowding, and the 8QT pot boiled a full box of pasta with room to spare. I just wish the pot's lid fit a bit more snugly to prevent splattering.
The 8QT pot is nice and large, but the pan's handle got a bit warm while I was browning meatballs, which was a small letdown. Still, it handled the volume well for a busy family dinner.
