HexClad Hot Mitt & Trivet Duo

The silicone is thicker than I expected, so I feel confident grabbing hot pans even at 400°F. The trivet doubles as a handy resting spot for my cast iron skillet without scorching the counter.

I was worried about getting burned when pulling a cast iron skillet from the oven, but these mitts handle 450°F with no problem at all. The trivet is also surprisingly sturdy and looks nice on the counter.

The silicone grip on these mitts is surprisingly flexible, making it easy to grab hot pans without slipping. I also love how the trivet doubles as a stable landing spot straight from the oven.
